God didn't move...

But still God did not move...

I’m going to trust that if God is asking me to do this… He will place this message in front of the people who need to hear it.

“But God didn’t move.”

For months now I’ve been trying to build Creative Acts of Praise while also learning a world I never wanted anything to do with… social media.

Honestly, the rebellious girl still living inside this old body has had a LOT to say about it.

This morning I finally realized something:
God may not remove the uncomfortable thing sitting in front of us… because sometimes that uncomfortable thing is the assignment.

So… here I am.
Learning.
Trying.
Obeying.
And posting again tomorrow.

Every piece you see here tells a story.

The sets we’re creating—like this nursery gift—are made possible through the hands of many. Different creators, different gifts… brought together for one purpose.

And while these pieces are beautiful, they are also practical.
Each one becomes a way to meet real needs in our community.

Right now, we are continuing to gather items that can be combined into meaningful gift sets—things like blankets, baby items, handmade pieces, and other creations that can be used to bless others.

If you’re a creator, your work matters here.
If you’re a shopper, your purchase makes a difference. Together, we are creating something bigger—
one set at a time.

What Happens When We Create Together

This nursery gift set is a simple but meaningful example of what happens when we bring our gifts together.

Julie created the basket, Judy made the blanket and burp cloth, and I had the joy of crocheting the teddy bear. Individually, each piece is beautiful—but together, they become something even more special.

This is the heart behind Creative Acts of Praise—bringing our different talents together to create gifts that can be shared and used to care for others.

Each week, we’ll be sharing a new “created together” set as this community continues to grow.

Most of us have had a moment like this. But what if the things that don’t turn out the way we expected still have value? What if even the imperfect things we create can bring comfort or encouragement to someone else? Perhaps they’re part of something more.

We are not here by chance.

Each of us has been given gifts, talents, and a desire to create—shaped over years, refined through practice, and placed in our hands for a purpose.

And as we look around at the needs in our communities—the vulnerable, the overlooked, the struggling—we begin to see that perhaps these gifts were never just for us.

Perhaps they were meant to be part of the answer.

At Creative Acts of Praise, we take what has been created with care and turn it into something more—support, provision, and encouragement for those who need it most.
