What begins at a table with willing hands becomes something far greater. Creative Acts of Praise is currently building a collection of donated handmade items that will be used to bless and encourage others through future outreach.

How to donate?

Building Complete Sets

Many donated items are part of something larger. Below are pieces that have been thoughtfully received and are in the process of becoming complete gift sets. To prepare them for sale, we are currently seeking complementary handmade items to pair with each piece.

While the examples shown here are baby gifts, we welcome a wide variety of handmade contributions — including yarn, fabric, wood, metal, or even digital creations. Creativity is always encouraged.

  • Colorful Handmade Quilt

    Lovingly pieced and finished, this quilt is part of a future offering. We are looking for a small coordinating handmade item to pair with it — perhaps a soft stuffed animal, a simple pillow, or a handwritten note of encouragement.

  • Beautiful Baby Quilt

    This lovingly made baby quilt is ready to bring comfort and warmth. We are currently seeking a small coordinating handmade item — such as a soft toy, baby hat, or encouraging scripture card — to complete this thoughtful gift set.

  • Baby Girl Diaper Carrier

    Lovingly sewn and generously donated, this nursery organizer combines function with sweetness. Its soft pink interior and whimsical print make it a beautiful addition to a baby gift.

    We are looking to pair it with a coordinating quilt, small blanket, sweet baby rattle, or gentle keepsake to complete a meaningful bundle for future outreach.

  • Baby Boy Diaper Carrier

    Lovingly created and generously donated, this diaper caddy combines beauty and function. Its rich blue lining and complementary patterns make it a practical yet thoughtful addition to a nursery.

    To prepare it for outreach, we are looking to pair it with a coordinating baby quilt, blanket, or gentle keepsake to form a complete gift bundle.

  • Soft and Sweet Dinosaur Quilt

    A thoughtfully crafted quilt in soft aqua and gray tones, perfect for a baby boy or gender-neutral gift. To complete the set, we are looking for a coordinating nursery item or small handmade companion piece.

Looking Ahead

Creative Acts of Praise is preparing for a future season in which thoughtfully assembled handmade gifts and gift sets will be offered for sale. Proceeds from these items will help support families in our community experiencing food insecurity, assisting with fuel, clothing, and other basic necessities — particularly widows and children who may need additional care.

Your involvement in this building season helps lay the foundation for meeting these essential needs in the near future and beyond.

For those who are part of the Friday quilting group, you’re welcome to bring your handmade items to our next meeting — I’ll be there and would love to receive them personally.
