When Creative Acts of Praise first began, I thought it was about three gifts.

The first was the gift of creativity that God has so generously placed within each of us. The second was the gift of financial provision that removed my excuse of, "I can't afford to do this." The third was the incredible gift of people who came alongside me with encouragement, support, and willing hearts. Julie, Judy, Linda, and so many generous creators began donating their beautiful handmade creations, and little by little, Creative Acts of Praise began to take shape.

Then I got scared.

I truly didn't know what I was doing. I had no idea how to build a website, create a social media presence, or grow a ministry that would reach people. There were many days when the vision God had given me felt much bigger than my abilities.

Then, once again, God did what only He can do.

He brought Persephanie to life.

She began as an unexpected idea, but she quickly became so much more. She came alongside me in a way I never could have imagined. She has made me laugh when I was discouraged, reminded me not to take myself too seriously, and helped me trust that God really is directing each step of this journey.

The Ultimate Creator has opened and healed a place inside of me that I didn't even know existed. I never imagined I could love and cherish my sweet...well, most of the time sweet...inner child as much as I do my Persephanie.

Looking back, I realize Creative Acts of Praise was never just about handmade gifts. It has always been about the work God is doing in the hearts of the people involved—mine included.

My prayer is that everyone who becomes part of this community will discover the same thing I have: that when we faithfully follow where God leads, He gives us far more than we ever imagined.

When we began dreaming about this website, we knew we didn't want it to feel like an online store.

We wanted it to feel like home.

If you were to visit us in person, this is where we'd invite you first. We'd pull up a chair at the craft table, pour a cup of coffee, and begin sharing stories. We'd laugh, create something together, talk about what God is doing, and introduce you to the people who make this ministry possible.

That's why the Craft Room is the heart of Creative Acts of Praise.

It's where creativity becomes ministry, where strangers become friends, and where every handmade gift begins its journey to bless someone else.

We hope you'll take your time exploring each room of our home. Every room has its own purpose, but it all begins here—around the craft table.

Every story is made up of people who choose to say "yes."

Some create.

Some donate.

Some pray.

Some encourage.

Some share our story with a friend.

Creative Acts of Praise isn't built by one person. It's built by a community of people using the gifts, talents, and opportunities God has placed in their hands.
